our philosophy
FuseArts is a free platform for the documentation of artistic creativity. With these offerings we encourage artists from various disciplines and communities to respond and interact with each other.
The term “art” refers to expressions of creativity. These have, over time, become confined to categories that include for example, classical music/ pop music, painting/sculpture, dance/ movement, performance/performance art, design/craft etc. These un-natural and hierarchical separations are being confronted and boundaries are dissolving. Categories are obsolete. Areas of creativity are reuniting, from fashion to gastronomy, gardening to painting – all are art.
Through various means, we have platforms to share both the product of our creative play and the creative play itself. FuseArts has been set up to nurture shared projects across the arts, promoting contemporary artistic activity to a wider audience and forming new artistic communities across society.
