The brain that inspired the work. Without it Blackout would not have brought us together.
Mig graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2003, and since has had a diverse career’s worth of experience in the field of production lighting, design, and theatre / events productions.
She has worked on rock and roll shows, corporate events, and theatre shows; spanning dance, musicals and plays, out door events and festivals, including the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. She was the Chief Electrician and Deputy Technical manager of The New Wimbledon Theatre for 8 years, and is currently the lighting tutor at the Guildford School of Acting.
She is also a freelance lighting technician, and lighting and creative designer. Mig is also a trustee councillor of the Association of British Theatre Technicians.
Mig is currently pursuing study towards a PhD by publication, and enjoys reflecting and analysing in writing her practice research projects. You can follow her on her personal academic website here.
